Case Study - Wireless Refresh for Palmdale Water District

Palmdale Water District's original wireless solution was originally built out to accomodate only a small amount of guest user devices and was 3 generations behind  in technology. As a result, the client was experiencing connectivity issues and lacked ease of management. They wanted to be able to accomodate guests, employees, and their respective devices.

Akins IT was able to deploy additional access points throughout the campus while refreshisng their older generation wireless solution using Aerohive.

With a new wireless refresh of Aerohive and additional access points deployed, Palmdale Water District was able accommodate all their user devices and reach farther connectivity distances. As a result of the refresh, they were also able to update their security to the latest firmware and increase connection which made manageability of devices easier.
